Planters and Retaining
Walls
|
A
perfect solution for those pesky bare spots near the sidewalk where no
grass appears to take hold. Two planter boxes mark the entrance to the
walk up to the front door. Made from Oklahoma Chop Stone and topped
with cut Flagstone caps they not only fit the look and feel of the
property but add character and drama to the main entrance. Their old
world look gives the front yard a touch of historical flair that
welcomes all visitors.
The matching retaining wall on the property line
prevents soil erosion and water drainage and its castle-like appearance
continues the theme beyond the sidewalk. Behind the chop stone face, a
reinforced concrete wall keeps the soil where it belongs and prevents
cracking in the mortar spaces. Built for durability and aesthetics.

Brick Wall with Wrought
Iron Fence and Gate
|
We built this brick wall and posts to mount the
wrought iron fence elements and gate.
The cores of the large posts are hollow while the
smaller posts are made of solid brick with reinforcing rods in
them.
All post and wall tops are covered with custom made
reinforced mortar caps.

Two flagstone steps
pave the path down from the elegant deck to the garden (below). The cut
stone skirt wraps the deck and keeps out the critters in style. A
durable, beautiful solution no elevated deck should be
without.
This concrete staircase (right) was covered with a
custom granite veneer.
The fronts are 3/4" thick and polished to a high shine while the steps
themselves are roughened by "burning out" the surface to provide a
safe, non-slip surface.
